return to the mothership

Eventually the siren's song wanes and the pull of original gravity restores its primacy.

You are dust and unto dust, and all that...but for anyone reading this, there is still time to make a difference. Where do you want to make that difference?
Many Maine kids spend their time in school focused solely on the exit. Many never make it. Some never have to make a run for it. Many never try.
Some of Maine's progeny actually leave. Many never look back. Why would they?
Better still, why are some making it back before their final bell tolls? They are setting up shop not merely shopping. They return armed with the power of perspective. Creativity. Experience. Motivation. Are they here to save us? Or will they show us how to save ourselves? Do we really need the saving?
Eventually, we will be forced to measure our worth by something other than quantity of, or proximity to, the Walmart. We live in an experiential world; what's your experience worth?

movin' on up

campers, mullets and facial hair...Bangor here we come. And until then, the mustache will remain, despite the negative public opinion.

Brad started a blog in France and I intended only to comment on his first post as i proscrastinated the Duberstein, but now here I am. (Holy shit there I am.) In this world where we live apart, let's stay together. will the blog improve our distance relationships? Stay tuned for useless musings...and good shots of L-I-V-I-N. that's how i see it.
